BREAKING: Chaser’s closed, hopefully hipsters get more DJ nights
As reported by Science at 12:16 pm, Chaser’s has been sold and is shutting down, with confirmation coming a few minutes ago from the Chaser’s myspace bulletin:
Without anyone knowing, Chasers has been sold and the new owners have closed the doors for remodeling. We have been given no information as to whether all the shows that are booked are still happening.

We’ll be updating as soon as we get more information, on this sad development. Friends have lost jobs, bands have lost shows, good times are lost.
UPDATE: Bear Paw is reporting that it was sold to the Bluefoot people
UPDATE #2: T-bone does say that it was the Bluefoot peple. No word on what they plan on doing with it. If anyone knows where those shows can go please let him know.

the bluefoot people have been booking live music at cafe la maze, another place they bought. i think they’ll upgrade and keep booking shows there to bring people in.
